WORK EXPERIENCE:
EDITOR (NHL NETWORK’S show NHL LIVE, New York, NY FEB, 2012 – JUNE, 2012): NHL Live is a daily 2-hour live cable show. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to; editing and mixing open tease, super bumps, bumps; pulling live radio calls; convert, add graphics, font and b-roll all NODs, WHIPs, and incoming Interviews; capture, pre-record, track and b-roll daily News Updates; and meet daily deadlines for live show from 5 – 7pm.
EDITOR (BTV PRODUCTIONS, New York, NY, OCT, 2007 – JAN, 2012): I own/operate and am on sabbatical from a successful production company. Editing experience includes: short films, promos, trailers, and corporate video. Honorable mention; edited award-winning 30-minute documentary, Profiling HURT.
FIELD PRODUCER: ANIMAL PLANET (HOFF PRODUCTIONS, San Francisco, CA, MAY, 2008 – AUGUST, 2009): 52 episode-2 season show called Weird, True, and Freaky. Organized and
conducted 100+ show-specific interviews with professors, government officials, and celebrities; collaborated with editors and writers; held planning meetings with field team
and met doubled-up production deadlines.
ASSOCIATE PRODUCER: NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC (HOFF PRODUCTIONS, San Francisco, CA, SEPTEMBER, 2006 – JUNE, 2007): Defying Niagara (1x60). Organized schedule; hired private
investigator to find show talent; acquired archival footage; wrote ‘snap-outs’; highlighted best footage for edit; directed show graphics; and annotated script.
ON-SET EDITOR AND ENGINEER (VIDEO HAWKS, Los Angeles, CA, NOV, 2000 – AUG, 2002): Digitally capture, edit, and playback on-set footage. Technical skills include: Operating mixer boards; editing; Operation of playback decks; responsible for audio-visual engineering needs.
