Description
Mairin craves nothing more than to be on set bringing her mind’s visualizations to life. She loves working hand in hand with her actors, and giving them the necessary guidance to craft a truthful and engaging performance. Mairin graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Television Production with an emphasis in Directing. In May 2012 she received her Master's Degree in Film and Television Directing at Chapman University.
Mairin's credits include over twenty five short films, promotional, and commercial videos. She has received awards and recognition for several of the films she has personally written and directed. Her short film "Playing House" was selected as a finalist in the Seeflik competition and then went on to be viewed on Comcast's video on demand for the month of March receiving over 280,000 views. "Playing House" was also selected for the 2012 San Antonio Film Festival. Mairin is currently submitting her Graduate thesis film, "The Devout" into multiple international and academy accredited film festivals. She currently resides in West Hollywood, California and continues to write and direct.
