Broadcasting (Radio and Television)
Students are given the opportunity to develop expertise in production, programming, news, sales, and management. A broad education is combined with practical experience as students prepare for careers in television and radio, independent production and corporate media. An internship and portfolio are required.
A blend of video production and film criticism are offered in this concentration. Students must spend one semester at the LA Film Studies Center or an approved alternative off-campus program. An internship and portfolio are required.
This concentration is for students who want to use film, video, computers and other electronic media in varied contexts. Multimedia studies can be pursued as a communication concentration or as a minor offered jointly with the Art, Computer Science and Business Information Systems Departments.
