The class will cover the foundations of modern SEO, such as: how search engines work, the importance of links, building a search engine-friendly web site, keyword research, content strategy, keyword targeting, and why you should avoid black hat techniques. By the end of this 3-hour workshop you will have a "big picture" understanding of modern SEO theory that you can apply to improve the traffic to your own website. You'll also know good questions to ask potential web developers or SEO firms.
