Adobe Photoshop is an amazingly powerful and flexible program for digital photographers and graphic designers alike. It's the industry standard for creating and manipulating images with subtle transitions in color, like photos and scanned artwork. If you've recently bought a digital camera and are wondering how you can use Photoshop to enhance your digital photos, or want to use scanned artwork and digital photos to create spectacular designs, this is the place to start.
We'll take a look at the Photoshop interface, learn some Photoshop basics like layers and selections, and cover some easy ways to improve your digital photographs in the Photoshop darkroom.

Presented in Adobe CS5, but most of what is taught will apply to earlier versions of the program.
