MISSION & OBJECTIVE
Located just 60 miles north of Hollywood on the California coastline, the Ventura Film Festival raises money and awareness for forest and ocean preservation and the environment.
The Ventura Film Festival is 100% volunteer based and is the largest film festival in Ventura County with over 500 films of all types screened during 3 weeks each summer in the beautiful beach town of Ventura, California.

The Ventura Film Festival is an international film festival that screens Academy Award winning and and other award winning films of all genres as well as independent, local, and student films.
Filmmakers and writers from more than 25 countries participated in the 2011 Ventura Film Festival. The Ventura Film Festival is attended by fans, filmmakers, directors, producers, writers, actors and their friends and family as well as celebrities from all around the world including world champion and Olympic athletes, world famous musicians, directors, producers, and actors.
