The Iron Mule Short Comedy Screening Series was started in April, 2002 at the Chicago City Limits Theater in NYC under the name First Sundays. Since then, the festival has screened nearly 800 short comedy films of all types from across the U.S. and Europe. From high end films featuring Hollywood actors to low end videos made by high school students on webcams, Iron Mule asks only that the films be short and funny.

Screenings are at the 92YTribeca theater in downtown Manhattan the first Saturday of every month. Each screening is followed by an after party where filmmakers and audience can mingle.
