Long-running, highly regarded
festival seeking outstanding independent dramatic features, documentaries, animated
films and shorts in all categories. The ten-day festival produced by Staller Center for the
Arts at Stony Brook University showcases one film at a time to houses of 850 -1000
filmgoers. Thanks to the presenting sponsors, there are no entry fees for the Stony Brook
Film Festival. Deadline for entries is May 1
st
. Filmmakers whose films are accepted must
have either a 35 mm print, Blu-Ray, or beta tape to screen at the Festival. DVDs are
accepted for entry purposes only and may be mailed to Stony Brook with an entry form
attached to the screener, available at www.stonybrookfilmfestival.com.
