Setting up and Shooting Great-Looking Interviews with LED Lights - with Doug Jensen
Event Details
For today’s high definition productions the quality of interview lighting is more critical than ever, but the actual “lighting” of an interview is just one of several elements that are required to transform a mediocre interview into a great one. You also need an understanding of white balance, exposure, camera and talent placement, composition, and much more.
This workshop has been created by well-known instructor Doug Jensen from Vortex Media to teach you the fundamentals of shooting excellent news-magazine style interviews — with an emphasis on utilizing the latest LED lighting technology. According to Doug, “The benefits of LED lights to a busy professional can’t be ignored. My custom interview light kit, which consists entirely of LED lights, allows me to work faster and more efficiently, haul around less gear, run my whole lighting setup completely on batteries, and it reduces the heat on the talent to zero. Anyone who thinks they can’t get great results with LED lights needs to attend this workshop. ” Whether you work as a one-person production unit or with a small crew of one or two, this session will show you how to work more efficiently; take advantage of the benefits LED lights provide; and create network-quality interview setups.
