FilmOneFest (1-Minute Films!)
MISSION & OBJECTIVE
FilmOneFest's mission is to challenge film makers to create a rich and dense fiilmic experience in 60 seconds, to provide an opportunity for artists to participate in a film festival without the resources required for longer works, and to bring contemporary filmmaking to the Bayshore of NJ. FilmOneFest/Atlantic Highlands Arts Council supports the Atlantic Highlands Food Pantry through food drives and donations.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
FilmOneFest will take place on July 21st, 2012 in the beautiful Atlantic Highlands Marina in historic Atlantic Highlands, NJ with the majestic Manhattan skyline as the backdrop. Now in its fourth year, the festival has grown in size and reach with its iPad app that has been downloaded in over 66 countries. Jury Awards will be given at an Awards Reception on Sunday, July 22nd and include five Jury Awards, a Director's Choice Award and the Audience Choice Award. Selected films will be promoted to other festivals. This festival is supported in part, by the Monmouth County Arts Council through funding from the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the County Historical Commission, and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
