COURSES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
HAIR FOR FILM AND TELEVISION:
Students can elect to pursue this path singularly or as a part of the complete hair and makeup track. The hair department is responsible for all aspects of hair: from basic styling of existing hair to application of wigs, toupees, facial hair and creation of special hairstyles such as fancy styles and period styles. This course will provide hands-on opportunities in all of these areas.
BASICS OF CAMERA MAKEUP:
This course gives hands-on experience for basic makeup in film and television production. Course includes studies men’s and women's makeup techniques, allergy issues, body makeup, and basic special effects makeup.
Prerequisite: FTGS100, FTGS103
Total clock hours: 40
Course length: 5 days
Course objective: Graduates will be able to perform skills necessary for basic Makeup duties on a film or television production. This course is a prerequisite for HAMU101.
Prerequisite: HAMU101 (for HAIR/MAKEUP track)
Prerequisite: FTGS100, FTGS103 (for HAIR track only) and FTGS200
