Q: What products and services does Camera Turret provide?
A: We have been manufacturing Camera Cranes for over 20 years and motorized Pan / Tilt Systems for 17 years. Presently, we also produce Broadcast Focus, Zoom, and Iris controls as well as a 3-axis ZRoll for the pan / tilts and even wireless options. Our most recent additions are our new ProTracker Crane and Motorized Trolley System.
Q: How did Camera Turret get started?
A: Oddly enough, I was an engineer by day and an entertainer by night. We built our first jib to shoot a music video I was doing. Professional videographers saw the movement of the shots while we were compiling footage at a local studio and one after another requested we build them one. It just took off from there.
Q: Why should consumers choose Camera Turret over competitors?
A: The most common response from a new customer is, "I almost didn't buy it because the price was so reasonable." Since we build everything from circuit boards to metal fabrication and machining in-house, we can keep the quality high and prices low. We write our computer programs and download them into the controlling chips on every board. I know that these days, businesses have products designed and manufactured for them and are mostly marketers. They haven't a clue as to how it works.
Q: Who are some of your top clientele that use the products?
A: Because our products are both professional and reasonably priced, they are used by everyone from wedding videographers to major studios; even Paramount studios has them.
