Q: Are there certain industry trends we should be on the look-out for in the broadcast industry?
A: First, given the widespread adoption of 3D by the industry, 3D video is finally coming into its prime. You’ll begin to see more and more products and solutions that drive to support stereoscopic 3D editing. Also, high-definition video has had profound effects on the industry, but in the coming years, the industry will begin to move beyond HD to even higher quality video. It will be interesting to see what new technological advancements are made to meet the challenges of how to capture, store, edit and present video.
