A: Sure, however it should be noted that while on production we are discreet and do not divulge our client list or the reasons they are staying with us. FirstGlance Hollywood Film Fest 12 Calling for Entries
Our 12th annual event is gearing up for it's Spring 2012 event and calling for submissions from professional, student, and studios. Accepting Features, shorts, documentaries, animation, music video, web series, international shorts, and 3D films. This years event will be awarding almost 50K in prizes and offers all Official Selections the opportunity for theatrical and digital distribution on many platforms. The BEST of the FEST film will be awarded a RED CARPET premiere in our new Las Vegas venue and a 1 week theatrical run valued at over $30,000 dollars. Our Hollywood event is expected to be the biggest in our history and will open doors for filmmakers no other mid sized festival can.

Q&A with Sound Devices
As you may know, the AES Convention is taking place in New York this year from October 21st–23rd. We were able to get a quick interview from one of the many great exhibitors, Sound Devices. Jon Tatooles, managing director tells us all about the company and its plans for the future.
Q: What new product will your company be exhibiting at AES this year?
A: We have our new Mix Assist™ feature for the 788T. This is a powerful tool for sound mixers who record and mix multi-talent drama and reality. Also, our MixPre-D is new for AES.
Q: Any new trends you see on the horizon that our readers should know about?
A: Unlike historical trends where pro products drove the development of lower-cost consumer products, we are seeing a shift where new ideas and possibilities introduced in the consumer market make it up-market. Much of this is driven from the capabilities of chip manufacturers, who first target large consumer markets, then make these tools available for specialty markets.
