As you may know, the AES Convention took place a couple of days ago in New York. While there, we were able to get a quick interview from one of the many great exhibitors, TC Electronic. Thomas Lund, Development Manager, HD tells us all about the company and current trends in audio he sees might arise in the future.
Q: What new product did TC Electronics exhibit at AES 2011?
A: We presented a new native plug-in - the LM6 Radar Loudness Meter. A unique radar display that gathers all loudness key information in a single view in order to provide the ultimate loudness overview. The GUI is identical to other TC Radar Loudness Meters such as LM5D for Pro Tools HD and versions included with TC hardware such as LM2, TM7, TM9, System 6000 MKII, DB4 MKII and DB8 MKII. The plug-in supports the VST, Audio Units and RTAS formats, allowing users of Pro Tools, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Media Composer, Nuendo, Wavelab or Sequoia, etc. on a PC or Mac to also benefit from having access to the ultimate loudness meter on stereo as well as surround productions.
