Description
Amber Cowles, Marketing and Communications Director for Convergent Design, reviews the company's product evolution from the Flash XDR recorder in 2008 to the newly introduced Gemini 4:4:4 external video recorder featured at IBC 2012. The Gemini 4:4:4 includes a 4K Canon cinema raw upgrade option, as well as the ability to record in either 30 fps, 60 fps, or 120 fps HD. Two SSD drives at the top of the Gemini allow for increased recording time. A transfer station is also provided with the unit which is available in multiple connectivities including Thunderbolt and FireWire.
