James Mathers with the Digital Cinema Society shares his thoughts on the recent DCS Lighting Event, along with special guests, exhibitors, images from the event and more:
The 2015 DCS Lighting Event was an unqualified success. We are overwhelmed by the great number of positive responses received from those in attendance, and are very eager to distribute the streaming coverage once it is posted. We could never have achieved such an accomplishment without the support and participation of so many talented and passionate professionals.
Special guests included Jonathan Erland, Author of "Chromatic Chaos", the Academy Sci-Tech and Pickfair Institute study on color rendition issues with today's LED lighting instruments, as well as ASC Cinematographers Bill Bennett, Bruce Logan, and Frederic Goodich.
