“If a picture is worth a thousand words, what is a video worth?” This question was posed by Scott MacFarland, a digital marketer and brand strategist, who wrote an article on the topic of online videos for the Huffington Post. There is no denying that online video continues to gain relevance. This rich form of media is more prevalent than ever on users’ newsfeed on Facebook. Major brands continue to invest more money in digital video. Most importantly, the consumption of online video continues to spike.
The very essence of an explainer video is the information that it conveys. However, it’s really not all that straightforward. It’s all about how that information is presented and what you do to facilitate its comprehension. This is especially important since these videos tend to be very short, often under 60 seconds.
With marketing professionals and companies often strapped for budgets and having many places to spend their precious advertising dollars, sometimes video production budgets suffer, but the quality - and your profit margins - need not plummet as a result. Companies looking to produce one isolated video and offering a small budget rarely leave much room for creativity or profit, but when a company wants to create a series of videos simultaneously, careful collaboration and creativity can lead to great results both for the client and for the production company’s bottom line. Sharing the workload in pre-production, maximizing the shoot time during production, and spreading out costs across videos in post-production can lead to low per-video costs for bulk projects without sacrificing quality or profit.
When Samsung approached me to take a technical long look at the Samsung 360 Round, my first reaction was ok sure, why not? It's just another camera, right? I will just say it here right now — I was so wrong! The Samsung 360 Round isn’t just an amazing camera, it's 17 amazing cameras in a very futuristic housing along with some advanced technologies that have redefined the 360 world. The level of attention to details by Samsung for the 360 Round is off the charts and something I can really appreciate.

That being said, this is a list of tips we’ve compiled over the years to help streamline both your production and post-production.
