They have this amazing new technology that you will love. Well, being the technology nerd that I am, I did stop and I did check them out. After reading the press release twice I was hooked and wanted to know more. ProductionHUB caught up with Thomas Menguy the President and CTO at Wildmoka. He walked us through a very interesting process of seamlessly real time converting horizontal images to a vertical for viewing on smart phones via AI and the cloud. He also shared some of the research that was instrumental in the development of their new product Auto ReZone.

Creative Culture Focuses on Diverse Storytelling with Blackmagic Design
Located in Pleasantville, NY, the Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC) developed its Creative Culture fellowship program to help champion underrepresented voices and diverse storytelling. Now in its fourth year, Creative Culture has helped 35 filmmakers create projects that have been selected by top tier film festivals, such as Sundance, Berlinale, and SXSW, and acquired by Fox Searchlight, POV, NY Times Op Docs, and Staff Pick’d at Vimeo. This includes recent projects such as Adam Meeks’ “Union County” which premiered at this year’s Berlinale, and Crystal Kayiza’s “See You Next Time” which was selected at Sundance 2020 and recently acquired by The New Yorker.

So with another IBC in the rearview mirror and NAB NY along with AES just a few days away, you would think we could catch our collective breath. Not going to happen.
