This student short is part of the Senior Project sequence within the Multimedia Film and Production major at Georgia Southern University. This is a non-union call, and compensation will only include food, gas reimbursement, copy, and credit.

Auditions will take place on the campus of Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA on Saturday, 1/20, from 10-4 pm. Please see album for detailed information, including breakdowns.

In-person auditions will be prioritized over self-tapes, but recorded auditions MAY be considered on an as-needed basis following the live casting on Saturday.

SYNOPSIS: After the death of their mother, a budding photographer must put her dream career on hold to care for her autistic younger sister.

KENNEDY, in her early 20s, has just begun booking regular photography gigs in the city, but knows her sister has nowhere else to turn after their mother dies.

SARAH, late teens, autistic, preoccupied with the ocean and the color blue and would love nothing more than to go to the beach with her sister.
** Performers on the autism spectrum will get priority, but role is open to all neural types. **

SUSAN, mid-40s to late 50s, worked with the girls’ late mother and tries to reach out to them.

WAITRESS, early 20s – late 30s, serves the girls at lunch, but has trouble with Sarah’s specific demands.
