I'm a Casting Producer in Los Angeles working with The Content Group, which produces a wide array of programming for many major cable TV networks including Lifetime, ESPN, National Geographic etc., including shows like“30 for 30”and“The Locator.”
We are currently in pre-production on a new INVESTIGATIVE series featuring people looking for long-lost family members and those who have been blindsided by revelations, lies, cover-ups and missing links that have left them questioning their own identities.
We are looking to interview private investigators that specialize in finding long-lost relatives, who are experts in family-history research, DNA technology, and those who have their own story of personal discovery - such as adoption or solving their own bio family-history mysteries. These investigators will be the face of the show.
*** Private Investigators can be a:
• Family-run business, part of a partnership or an individual.
• Ideally has personal experience with adoption/experience finding his/her/biological family.
(For example an adoptee that spent decades looking for birthparents, now a specialist in reuniting adoptees and lost loved ones.)
The investigators will work with and guide people hoping so solve their family mysteries, tapping into every possible resource - from public records and archives to cutting-edge technology - leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of answers.
If you are a family-run business, part of a partnership or an individual who has solved a mystery in your own family history - and you’re passionate about helping others solve theirs – I’d love to hear from you. And if this isn't a perfect fit for you, but you know someone who might be interested, please feel free to forward this to them.
Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you!
