We are producing a short civil rights themed video for the NPS at Fort Davis, Texas centered around the role of the Buffalo (African American) Soldiers who served there in the Civil War era. We need 6 actors for non-speaking roles who meet the following criteria.

1. Young African American (18-30, actual age or appear to be that age)
2. Lean build
3. Experienced horse riders strongly encouraged to apply, as many scenes will involve being on horseback or riding
4. Experience firing rifles is not required, but is a plus, as we have a few battle skirmishes involving firearms (safety training and instruction will be provided by the park staff). At the very least be aware you may be asked to do this.
5. No acting experience necessary as these are non-speaking roles. Reenactments will portray everyday life and duties at the fort (construction, working in the store, recreation in and around the living quarters and parade grounds, as well as some battle skirmishes.

Pay is between $160-$200 per day, depending on the length of the shoot. Travel reimbursement is $0.575 per mile. We prefer local talent who do not require a hotel stay, but that can be discussed, if needed. Lunch provided and snacks/water available throughout the day. We need 1 day for sure, and possibly a 2nd day. Tentative date for the first day of shooting is August 3rd or possibly the 4th.

Please respond with your details including age, a full length photo (not just a headshot) and note your experience riding horses and firing rifles (if any). If you have acting experience, please send a link to a video.
