I am a cello professor at Cal State University/San Bernardino as well as an active performer on the modern and Baroque cello.
I am interested in having a music video recorded involving the cello works of Johann Sebastian Bach.
What I am envisioning would be similar in many respects to a video by cellist Stjepan Hauser, viewable at https://youtu.be/JNrk9s1UbC8.
For the locations, I am looking to have a total of 2 to 3 locations for shooting a total of 23-minute length video — consists of consecutive 6 short pieces (each piece lasts 3-4 minutes).
The first location would be a compelling-looking beach — Solana Beach in San Diego area, or other suggestions are welcome — by using drones and a couple more cameras. The second and third locations can be a beautiful church, here are links to those churches — https://www.saintandrewpasadena.org/gallery-1 and https://www.saintbarbaraparish.org/ — to shoot for a couple of movements (pieces) each venue.
Other than locations, I would like to have your suggested recording studio to produce pre-recorded track within Los Angeles in California (I reside in Southern Cali and so I can get pre-recording done prior to video recording here), I may need hair/make-up artist for the shooting day.
Could you please send me an invoice of those itemized costs as well as any terms and conditions that I should be aware of?
In consideration of weather conditions that could make playing an acoustic instrument outdoors problematic, I am hoping to record in spring of this year, if possible.
I would sincerely appreciate your response as soon as possible.
