MISSION & OBJECTIVE
San Francisco International Women's Film Festival Festival (SFIWFF), presented by the Women's Film Institute (WFI), accepts films and video of all lengths and genres: narrative, documentary, experimental and animation. Films and videos must be directed by or co-directed by women.
The Women's Film Institute (WFI) was established to address the under representation of women in the film and media industries. WFI's mission is to honor, showcase, and facilitate the creation of films that are directed or co-directed by women. We achieve our mission by supporting, promoting, exhibiting, and honoring the achievements and contributions of women in the world of cinema.
