The 4th Annual Miami Web Fest is a 4 day festival showcasing the hottest new web series content from around the world. The event is designed to create a work-play environment, attracting Miami’s vast and multicultural community of arts enthusiasts. For attendees, Miami Web Fest is a “window into the future” of new media, allowing the general public to see independently produced shows before they are discovered by big television networks and media entities such as Netflix. It’s also a chance to party and mingle with the stars of the New Digital Age at some of the most exclusive hotspots in Miami! MWF will present winners in over twenty-six competitive web series categories.

This year's 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Director Bobby Roth, with more than four decades of Hollywood film experience few directors have accumulated such an iconic list of directing credits as Bobby Roth including: Miami Vice, Beverly Hills, 90210, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, Prison Break, Commander-In-Chief, Lost, Revenge, Greys Anatomy, Marvels Agents of Shield, Scorpion, Hawaii 5-0, Player and the recent reboot of MacGyver among many more.

In addition Actor Keith David, will be presented with the 2018 Legendary Actor Award. Some of his most notable films include: The Princess and the Frog, Coraline, Crash, Barbershop and Agent Cody Banks. He has also been featured in, There's Something About Mary, Armageddon and Dead Presidents.

The 2018 Veteran Actor Award recipient will be presented to Bob Gunton who is also a Vietnam War Veteran. Gunton has appeared in four films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: Born on the Fourth of July, JFK, The Shawshank Redemption and Argo, the latter being a winner in the category.
