MediaSource is seeking a highly organized and creative individual to coordinate various aspects of the storytelling process at MediaSource which includes video content creation and story development. Candidates should have at least 1-3 years of project and/or video coordination/logistic experience to support our teams here at MediaSource.

The ideal candidate is experienced in moving projects forward by handling schedules and coordinating a variety of assignments with a focus on video production, story development and project/account coordination. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task assignments for a variety of projects simultaneously. Experience and knowledge in multimedia/video content creation is preferred. A competitive salary base ranging from $32,000 - $40,000

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating day-to-day scheduling of multiple projects that are focused on story development and video content creation.
Assign and monitor internal project deadlines from conception to completion using planning documents that can be easily communicated to both our internal team and our clients.
Move projects through the MediaSource system in a creative and organized manner and make sure projects are being completed on time.
Coordinate production shoots/ logistics for projects in a strategic way that fits with our internal workflow and achieves our client’s timeline.
Work with creative team and others involved in projects to organize and align everyone involved in projects so that goals are achieved in a timely manner.
Coordinate logistics for project calls, phone interviews and travel.
Create shoot schedules with clear information and direction for all individuals involved in production.
Conduct pre-interviews with subject experts and patients to better understand a story in advance of any content creation and communicate information back to creative teams.
Transcribe video interviews with a producer mindset.
Conduct strategic research about proposed story topics and communicate information and recommendations in a way that is clear and easy to understand.
Assist in the video creation/story development process by helping to identify and advance potential stories from information supplied by client(s), internal team and/or other research.
Prep for and leading internal meetings with creative teams which may include creating agendas and project related documents, creating recap emails and assigning next steps and deadlines while following up to make sure items are completed.

Ability to conceptualize plans and solutions to deal with project issues.
Comfortable working in a team environment with authentic communication and with clients.
Confident taking charge of projects and giving clear logistical direction to personnel.
Deadline oriented
Ability to work on multiple projects at once with excellent follow-through and follow-up skills.
An understanding of video production and post-production with specialized, industry-specific skills is a plus.

Experience / Skills

Bachelor’s degree in video or film production, communications, public relations or broadcast journalism preferred.
1-3 years of project/video production/content coordination experience at a production company and/or agency environment that is project-driven.
Must have proven project management/coordination skills.
