The video engineer will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer with the overall technical maintenance of Video and Audio systems, control room, equipment and supporting A/V infrastructure for Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta Falcons Football and Atlanta United FC MLS Soccer.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage Network Truck I/O, ENG interconnect room, and SAT/ENG pedestals.
Work closely with the Chief Engineer to prepare for all games & special events.
Prepare, set and test all AV equipment ahead of events start time to ensure all proper functionality
Keep the asset management database current.
Focused support of Daktronics, Display, Scoring and Production Systems: maintenance, cleaning, repair, monitoring, upgrade and documentation of all Daktronics systems.
Assist with routine maintenance to AV equipment and maintain a clean, labeled, and organized inventory of equipment and tools.
Train and help oversee game day engineering game crew.
Other duties may and will be assigned.
Experience / Skills
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor degree or equivalent Technical Degree in video/audio engineering and/or 5 years of experience in video and broadcast engineering.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the sports/broadcast entertainment field.
Self-starter, able to work efficiently without direct supervision
Be able to work effectively with other departments receiving and communicating instructions via telephone or in person
Be able to read and understand technical materials
Able to set priorities under pressure of deadlines
Able to concentrate for long periods of time
Must be flexible to accommodate shift changes including extended hours, weekends, and evenings
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team to carry out hands-on technical responsibilities.
Hold a valid driver's license.

Working knowledge of broadcast station operations.
