We are looking for a Hardware Technician to set up technology for events. (computers, kiosks, VR, AR, touch screens, cameras, etc.) Also to help design, repair and maintain hardware systems for our marketing tours. Some travel to tour sites will be required.

Responsibilities

Quick learner of new technologies and emerging media hardware and devices.
Use tools and technology to maintain hardware at optimal operating levels
Make repairs to computers, processors, hard drives, and monitors.
Diagnose issues, and make recommendations for repair or replacement to customers
Test any new parts that are installed to ensure each devise is as intended
Perform software configuration and updating on a diverse range of hardware including PCs, iOS, Android tablets and smart devices
Travel with national tours as the lead for set up and tear down of all digital assets
Remote log-in and diagnostics
Assess and report on hardware/software during and post event

Experience / Skills

Requirements

Technical background in Electronics, Information Technology or related STEM disciplines.
Computer hardware repair or computer support experience
Must be able to problem solve in high pressure situations
Clear and personable communication skills
Ability to think outside the box to solve problems
Help desk / call center experience is a plus
