The St. Louis Blues/Scottrade Center seeks qualified candidates for the position of Video Editor/Producer. The primary responsibility is editing content for the Blues Hockey Club. Other duties include producing features, camera operation, motion graphics and archival system. This is a Salary position with a full benefits package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Edit video features that are primarily focusing on production content required for in-arena display, TV shows and web video channels.
Shoot features and commercials while producing/directing the preconceived ideas and physical realities of production setting.
Experiment with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements.
Consulting with the director, manager and/or client throughout the post-production process.
Oversee the production department’s digital media asset management procedures and oversee compliance by all staff using ingest, metadata tagging, editing, storage and archive systems
Experience / Skills
Bachelor degree in Broadcasting/Communications or related field preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years experience in the video production field.
Experience with various computer graphics software programs and hardware. Including Adobe CC suite, specializing in Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects. Cinema 4d and Ross Expressions is helpful.
Knowledge of the operation of cinematic video cameras, lights, and sound equipment.
Must demonstrate professionalism, a positive attitude, and strong communication skills
Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary.
Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
Understanding and awareness of current events, pop culture, music trends and topics.
