Role Details:

The Lead Content Producer works alongside a Senior Manager, a Manager and two Associate Content Producers to form an efficient team supporting our partner institutions, is responsible for leading by example - particularly during off hours - and is charged with organizing and directing additional projects, as well as training other members of the staff. The Lead Content Producer also fills in for the Senior Manager or Manager in times of absence, working directly with clients.

Your Day-to-Day:

Constructing web pages with proprietary software, HTML and CSS

Coding and posting information provided by partner institutions to their official websites

Building promotional graphics

Using wire copy and photos to provide event coverage on official sites

Monitoring live event statistics

This position does not involve writing original content.

Key Projects:

Consult with partner institutions on latest best practices and trends in the digital space

Refine processes in custom content management system to better serve the needs of emerging digital trends

Build custom microsites for special events and initiatives of partner institutions

Develop custom video content platforms for new and emerging sports

Experience / Skills


What you bring to the team:

You have --

Bachelor’s Degree, potentially in digital media or a related field

Avid interest in college athletics

Willingness to work some nights, holidays and weekends

Excellent partner-facing communication skills, both oral and written

Very high-level of accuracy, keen attention to detail and problem solving capabilities

Superior professionalism, discretion, and judgment

You might also have --

Experience in a college athletics department, particularly in media relations or digital media

Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS

Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
