N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience related to the area of assignment in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Must be well-versed on current and emerging technology and be responsible for making important decisions on video equipment to ensure that UNCW Athletics is on the cutting edge of video techniques.
Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions on the spot
Demonstrated experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, professional camera operation, and professional lighting
Demonstrated ability to meet short deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred education, professional skills and experience:
Master’s degree with previous work experience in a live production setting, including technical directing, replay operation, video playback, and web-streaming
Experience with Daktronics displays and software
