Quinnipiac University is accepting applications for a new full-time position of Director of Video Production. This position will be responsible for the strategic execution of all multimedia and video production for Quinnipiac Athletics’ 21 varsity sport teams. During the period of appointment, this position will report to the Associate Athletic Director for
Athletic Communications.

The University is a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Hockey League (ECAC), the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), the Big East Conference and is an NCAA Division I member sponsoring 21 varsity sports.


Adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity and work in compliance with all University, NCAA, MAAC Conference, ECAC Conference and Big East Conference rules and regulations
Produce highlight and feature package content in support of Quinnipiac’s athletic teams, coaches and student-athletes
Oversee all game day video streaming and in-game production at multiple venues, with an emphasis on ESPN3 standards
Supervise Assistant Director of Video Production, graduate assistants and student employees
Integrate video assets into the athletic department’s multiple social media platforms
Responsible for archiving and cataloging video assets
Perform additional duties as assigned

Experience / Skills

Qualifications & Special Instructions to Applicants:

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role related to athletic video production
Extensive knowledge of video production equipment
Expert knowledge and past experience of ESPN3 video streaming operations
Demonstrated skill with all video editing software platforms
Video content creation experience at the college or professional level
Must possess a collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skill
Duty to interact professionally within the department, the campus and the national community
Ability to operate and carry camera equipment (up to 25 lbs.)

Ability to work nights, weekends and potentially holidays as required.
