FOX Sports is looking for outstanding talent to fill a Vice President, Product role within the FOX Digital Consumer Group in Los Angeles, CA.

Our focus is creating the sports media industry’s best applications for Web, mobile and connected devices supporting FOX Sports broad portfolio of events including the World Series, Super Bowl, US Open, Daytona 500 and FIFA World Cup. As VP, Product, you will be responsible for developing a strong team of product owners, formulating and executing a unique product vision, and fostering a culture of continuous innovation. This is a leadership position that is a key piece of the FOX digital management team. It will require strategic thinking and skilled communication, coupled with the ability to lead both internal and external teams. This role requires strong product management experience, exceptional leadership skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, expertise in all aspects of digital content experiences- and most importantly, a deep passion for sports programming.

Responsibilities

Ensure the successful and profitable completion of numerous concurrent interactive projects across FOX Sports’ full suite of digital products – FOX Sports GO, FOX. Sports App, FOXSports.com, FOX Regional Websites, FOX Sports VR, FOX Soccer Match Pass and integration of Sports into other FOX-wide digital products.
Understand user needs, evolving market trends, technology innovations, and competitive offerings to grow and develop new online sports products.
Interact with senior leadership of the Digital Consumer Group and represent Digital Consumer Group up and down the chain within Fox Sports.
Identify, recruit, and continually develop a team of talented product managers.
Manage the complete product life cycle from strategic planning, innovation, to tactical implementation, using analytics to inform project priorities.
Work closely with marketing, sales, and business stakeholders to develop digital strategies that deliver on revenue targets.
Work closely with Finance and other Digital Consumer Group stakeholders on budget and planning.

Experience / Skills


Qualifications

A proven track record of developing and launching successful digital video or sports products and deep knowledge of the industry and consumer drivers, including understanding of the rights and business dynamics of the broader sports media market
Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Experience instilling a strong product culture that rewards innovation, rapid testing, and continuous learning
Demonstrable experience in leadership through collaboration and cross-functional teams, including motivating reports and colleagues
Proven ability to lead and manage multiple work streams simultaneously
Comfortable working in an execution focused, fast paced environment balancing multiple projects and priorities balancing short-term goals and long-term vision for the team
Expertise in modern forms of product discovery, planning, and development
Experience working in an Agile environment including defining and documenting product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Strong technical abilities paired with a strategic mindset with a keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills, ambitious, and self-sufficient
Experience with video streaming technologies
Solution-oriented, highly motivated, and proactive self-starter
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant product management experience. MBA a plus
