Reporting to the Video Production Senior Producer, this newly created position will produce and shoot videos and news reports for Wells Fargo. Additionally, this individual will develop pieces for the company’s brand journalism effort, Wells Fargo Stories and the company’s internal intranet.
Specific responsibilities include:
Developing concepts, ideas, scripts, pitches, and outlines
Pitching concepts/scripts to supervisors and team leaders
Producing and shooting a range of story types, from snappy videos for social to longer-form features
Providing rough cuts of stories to finishing editor
Creating videos for a variety of distribution platforms, particularly digital and social channels
Adhering to brand guidelines and a POV to projects while still maintaining a compelling and creative style
Partnering with key stakeholders to surface the right stories across the company
Managing project deliverables and deadlines, within budget, through the various states of production
Mastering processes within Enterprise Content and other internal teams
Collaborating with internal partners to hone in on appropriate messaging/storyline
Collaborating with internal storytelling partners including writers and graphic design team
The Enterprise Content team in Corporate Communications is responsible for external owned content creation and amplification, multimedia storytelling, graphic design support for the communications function, video production (all types) for partners across the company, and social strategy and support related for Corporate Communications.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Experience / Skills
6+ years of communications experience
Other Desired Qualifications
6+ years of experience in professional video production environments
Experience with electronic news gathering
Experience with field-based video pre-production, production, and post-production
Experience managing budgets for ongoing operations as well as project investments
Experience with web video formats and production
Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
Experience with Adobe Premier
