Responsibilities:

-Develop strategy and day-to-day operations of NBC Sports and Olympics social media business
-Leads team of social media focused staff
-Supervise high profile channel accounts to drive audience growth and engagement
-Oversight of social media content strategy and creation
-Creation of custom social assets including graphics and video
-Integrates social media into larger marketing strategy
-Identifies and surfaces content from all NBC Sports platforms and how it fits best within the social media landscape
-Execution of paid media campaigns on social
-Utilize social media analytics tools to make data based business decisions
-Performance analysis and optimization
-Manage implementation and execution of sold social concepts

Experience / Skills


Basic Qualifications

-Minimum of 4 years’ experience in social media
-Minimum of 5 years in marketing or digital media
-Minimum of 3 years managing a team
-Experience and proficiency in design programs such as photoshop
-Experience with GoPro & DSLR cameras, videography & photography
-Has driven and developed social media strategy for a large brand.
-Strong understanding of all current social media platforms, best practices & native analytics
-Strong understanding of social media landscape and up and coming platforms
