The Fox Network Center in The Woodlands, TX is searching for a Network Operations Assistant. This position is responsible for the creation and maintenance of broadcast operations schedules in the ScheduAll software system. This position converts text information schedules into operations schedules by researching and refining information from several different documents.

Responsibilities:

-Interfaces with Program Managers, Program Resource Center, Transmission Services, Network Management and Master Control in order to compile and input program origination schedules
-Gathers applicable information from program distribution grids to determine the actual networks riding distribution networks and other regional outlets
-Ensures standardization of program titles and episodes
-Coordinates recording of specific commercial inventories on library masters
-Inputs alternate master control allocations, switching information, closed captioning and daily program change information

Experience / Skills


Qualifications

-This position requires a high school diploma or equivalency and a minimum of 1 year of related work experience - Bachelor's degree in -Communications or like experience is preferred
-Great organizational and project coordination skills are necessary
-Basic knowledge of sports and cable television is a plus
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary
-A proven ability to multitask and perform well under strict deadlines is required
