About the Role

IBM is seeking talented, creative Video Editor to join our in-house video production studio located in New York City. You'll be responsible for creating cohesive video experiences for various forms of online content. The work will range from editing fully developed storyboards to creating your own unique edits based on your own fun style.

-You have a knack for storytelling through video.
-You understand comedic timing, you can visualize the final product at inception and you know how to work with motion graphics to add the final touches to your story.
-You are very comfortable working with audio and can use music to your advantage when trying to create the right rhythm.
-Must be a superb collaborator with the skills to be able to take direction or ask for direction when needed, as well as completely develop projects on your own.
-Must have a solid showreel that shows you have done all the above.

This role is located in IBM offices in New York City, New York.

Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship.

Experience / Skills

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

-3+ years Editing in a production or agency background
-1+ year producing content
-Expert knowledge of editing video/audio using Adobe Premiere CC or Final Cut Pro
-Proficient in Color grading and Correction using Adobe Premiere CC or Final Cut Pro
-Proficient in After Effects and comfortable using keyframes
-Proven ability to self-manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities
-Available to work on weekends and evenings when needed

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

-Professional and capable of working under pressure
-A positive, can-do attitude with teammates and clients alike
