As a Graphic Designer, Support Communications for YouTube, you will drive the development of rich media content across multiple support and education channels, creating assets, such as GIFs, images and infographics, to bring our content to life across Twitter, Help Centers, emails and other educational resources. You will partner with the Support Communications, Product Specialists, Community & Social and subject matter experts across YouTube to develop content for all YouTube products. You will also work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across YouTube Support and Education Operations on brand consistency, defining guidelines to help explain complex concepts to viewers and creators. You will drive projects that ensure a consistent and customized experience across mobile and desktop, via in-product help, help center, high-touch support channels, and more.

-Conceptualize and develop rich media for articles, emails, Twitter, and other user educational materials.
-Create and update style guide for rich media across support and educational content.
-Collaborate with multiple teams at YouTube to develop and execute the rich media support strategy, and partner with Legal, Press and other editorial groups to ensure content consistency and transparency.
-Create and scope the rich media content strategy from scratch, including localization strategy where applicable.
-Be the expert cross-functionally and stay updated on emerging social and industry trends.
Experience / Skills
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
-Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and/or equivalent.
-Experience in social media creative ads, branding or equivalent.
-Experience with online content production or marketing content for consumer-focused communications.
-Experience with Sketch and Balsamiq.
-Strong understanding of user experience principles, rich media and social media.
-Expert user of social media with a passion for YouTube and knowledge about Internet culture.
-Excellent project manager and self-starter, with the ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives at the same time.
