Activision Publishing is looking for a Mobile Producer to join the team; this is an exciting opportunity to work on designing, managing and producing mobile titles that uphold Activision's tradition of delivering incredible world-famous video-games.
The ideal candidate is expected to have proven experience within a similar role, be an exceptionally creative problem solver, a good communicator, positive team member and one who always shows high levels of enthusiasm and talent for creating games.
The Producer for Activision will be working with a bold new Mobile team. This position will entail the day-to-day management of the entire game's production. This includes the management of work pipelines, project finances, team management and the successful timely launch of the title.
Key responsibilities include:
-Work closely with the development team to produce the creative center of the game and build a fully playable/shippable level demonstrating the key attributes of the game (game play, technology, linkages to outside media).
-Oversee development of projects, working with the developer as the day-to-day point of contact.
-Track project milestones and development progress on ongoing basis to ensure product is on schedule.
-Provide ongoing risk assessments to Sr. Director of Production with respect to quality, schedule, budget, and other aspects of production and provide proposed solutions for addressing issues.
-Assist in maintenance of project development budget and learn/understand the process in creating it.
-Help manage outside vendors and contractors working on the project.
-Grow the game into a successful franchise capable of multiple versions.
-Act as primary point of contact with Marketing, PR, Sales, Operations, QA, and other supporting departments.
-Work with Studio Finance to prepare accurate and reasonable project budgets and develop the game within that budget.
Experience / Skills
-Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Producer in the mobile space.
-3-5 years of experience developing and executing game project plans.
-3-5 years of experience leading, motivating and driving teams to success.
-Ability to know what types of products will sell and what won't sell and be able to assess the feasibility of producing a new product.
-Ability to successfully partner across a WW organizations.
-Successful track record in the development of high profile entertainment and software products.
-Strong knowledge of the mobile game market and platforms.
-Assertive and motivated team player.
-Strong technical background a plus
-Open to 25% travel
