Creative Graphic Designer II
Responsible for working independently and collaboratively to produce creative concepts for marketing channels and corporate marketing materials ensuring all brand guidelines, deadlines, branding and specifications are met. The role will work with the Creative Design Manager to translate company briefs into creative and innovative designs.
Develop original design concepts that can be utilize across all marketing channels including circular, digital, press, point of sale and corporate marketing materials. Adhere to the design concept brief while maintaining brand guidelines. Translate business/marketing strategic design briefs into innovative creative concepts. Adhere to creative design layouts communicated to Studio either electronically, visually or verbally
2. Business Support
Partner with other marketing and business functions to produce creative concepts that support the business. Work cross-functionally to ensure brand guidelines are being followed. Communicate with other departments to ensure design work supports the strategic vision of the briefs.
Select and provide accurate photography or develop style guide/ brief for photography to execute in line with design concepts.
Maintain up to date skills and knowledge of operating system, programs and design techniques.
5. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience / Skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
-Experience as a creative designer within a fast paced, high volume retail/corporate design studio or Advertising agency.
-Skill and advanced knowledge in MAC based software including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop.
-Excellent conceptual design skills.
-Proactive and innovative focus with sound problem solving skills.
-Knowledge of Microsoft software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
-3 - 6 yrs minimum
