Video Production Specialist

USBC is looking to expand its in-house video department and is seeking add an experienced and innovative Video Production Specialist to our team.
The Video Production Specialist is a creative-minded, team-oriented, deadline-driven video professional, responsible a variety of video projects with the USBC and International Bowling Campus team.
USBC is the National Governing Body for bowling. Our campus includes a full training center for Team USA and the premiere research facility in the sport. We also conduct professional events, collegiate championships and youth championships.
We help produce 17 national telecasts on CBS Sports Network, produce our own custom live stream events, create instructional videos for coaching, trade show videos for bowling conventions, historical video for the USBC Hall of Fame, broadcast commercials and social media videos.
The Video Production Specialist must be able to work on every portion of a project end to end. You should be able to conceptualize, write script, light, shoot and handle all aspects of post-production.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of event and corporate style projects as well as a blend of collaborative and individual contributor roles.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
-Produce approximately 200 video projects per year for the IBC campus, including pre-production, scripting, shooting and post-production
-Travel to events to assist with event video coverage and create video for promotional pieces
-Manage USBC library of video content, including digitization of archival material and distribution of content on BowlTV and other social media channels
-Manage the video request and delivery process

Experience / Skills
-Degree in Communications, Film and Television, Video Production or related field
-3-5 years of related experience
-Broadcast television experience a plus
-Live streaming/video encoding experience a plus
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Experience with professional/consumer camera equipment, especially Sony NEX-FS700, Sony HXR-NX100 and Canon EOS 80D DSLR.
-Expert in Mac environment, Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Adobe After Effects CS5 or later. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop CS5 or later.
-Knowledge of competitive bowling a plus
-Ability to travel up to 30% of the time including international travel
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
-Must be a team player, collaborative, approachable, positive attitude
-Willing to work long event shifts including some weekends
-Excellent time management skills and the ability to hit deadlines
-Sample reel must be submitted for consideration
-Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of video equipment
