Motion Graphics Designer
You will be responsible for illustrating, designing, animating, and maintaining the look and feel for all of Global Citizen’s internal and external videos.
We are looking for someone who is highly creative and able to take a large amount of information to turn it into something exciting and visual. You will collaborate closely with video editors who will be implementing your designs into final products. You will act as both an animator and a mentor on the video team for all things design.
A successful Global Citizen Motion Graphics Designer will be a self-starter, responsive to feedback, and pay strong attention to detail.
-Design, animate, and illustrate all motion graphics for Global Citizen videos
-Create templates for the editors to use themselves
-Mentor and give feedback to editors on all text and graphics in their videos
-Maintain and update the video style guide
-Work with and train the Global Citizen design team to ensure video design elements are consistent with the overall brand
Experience / Skills
-Proven experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, & Illustrator
-At least 3+ years of design/motion graphics experience preferably for web
-Some familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or editing software
-Familiarity with global development issues
-Interest in, and respect toward, a variety of cultural practices and backgrounds
-Interest in pop culture / social media trends
-Personal commitment to ending extreme poverty and related causes
-Professional demeanor and ability to interact with variety of individuals and organizations
-Can-do attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and hit tight deadlines
-Willingness to respond positively to constructive feedback
-Attention to detail
