The Video Producer & Editor is responsible developing engaging and professional video content, from concept to creation, to be used as a catalyst in the fulfillment of the USADA communication and social media strategy, to leverage opportunities that promote and build awareness for the brand and messaging of USADA’s programs, policies, and services. The Video Producer & Editor will collaborate with various organizational teams to create relevant content, interactive media experiences, and storytelling opportunities through USADA’s distribution channels.


• Lead the implementation of the organization’s strategic video communication’s strategy
• Identify program needs and create timely and engaging video content optimized for the intended audience across various platforms including, TV, web, and social media
• Shoot and edit all video content in alignment with USADA’s brand standards
• Plan, coordinate, provide creative guidance on, and oversee the delivery of all USADA video projects
• Serve as a producer on USADA original content projects
• Use established production budgets and ensure that all projects are managed according to schedule
• Collaborate with USADA Writer/Editor on video content idea generation and messaging
• Work with the department’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure proper cataloging of USADA assets
• Provide leadership for staff members trained in basics of video production
• Build strong b-roll library, to include cataloging in DAM system
• Support events and the Communication’s team with on-site production
• Help develop and maintain production standards for all institutional videos
• Collaborate with internal departments to create digital content to support their programs while staying on brand
• Stay current with visual/audio trends and tools
• Collaborate with Social Media Program Lead on the development of short-form videos and graphics for social media posts

Experience / Skills


• BS / BA degree in Radio, Television, Film, Photojournalism, or related field preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience in video production, TV Broadcasting writing, producing and editing
• Knowledge of broadcast and live streaming options
• Proficient with Adobe Suite, including Adobe Premier CC or similar editing software
• Studio management, including set and lighting design
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with various levels of management
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers
• Ability to multitask and to work accurately under pressure
• Ability to work in a diverse environment
• Able to perform in a team environment and work closely with key individuals

• Proficiency in MS Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Work experience in athletics, sport or health

• Experience with designing and managing custom graphic template titles and generator packages
• Experience in digital storytelling and/or news background


The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) is the national anti-doping organization (NADO) in the United States for Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American, and Parapan American sport. The organization is charged with managing the anti-doping program, including in-competition and out-of competition testing, results management processes, drug reference resources, and athlete education for all United States Olympic Committee (USOC) recognized sport national governing bodies, their athletes, and events. Additionally, USADA contributes to the advancement of clean sport through scientific research and education & outreach initiatives focused on awareness and prevention.
