The Accountant will support Luma’s Finance and Accounting team in the month-end close procedures, reporting functions and year-end procedures.

Responsibilities:

-Maintain GL entries and balances including AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Investments
-Reconcile key accounts and bank statements on a monthly basis
-Ensure alignment across multiple systems used throughout all functions of the company
-Oversee weekly check run process
-Assist with Payroll/Benefits processing, entry, 401 (K) contributions and PTO accrual management
-Manage employee credit card applications and charges
-Prepare month-end management reporting for delivery to CEO/COO
-Assist with operational and facilities processes as needed
-Perform such other accounting, financial or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time

Experience / Skills


Qualifications

-Proficient in Microsoft Excel
-Experience with Sage Intacct, ADP or Namely a plus
-Accounting degree or equivalent experience (must have basic knowledge of Financial Statement
preparation and presentation)
-Solid time management and organizational skills
-Highly detail-oriented a must
-Positive and timely response to direction and feedback
-Excellent communication skills
-Extremely proactive
