Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the position of Coordinator of Athletic Event Technology

Duties will include, but not be limited to: serve as coordinating producer of all multimedia entities used within athletic venues; including but not limited to, video boards, LED boards and sound; assisting in oversight and execution of all game day scripts and run of show associated with various NCAA Division I sport programs; assisting the Department of Athletics with special projects and special events; maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technical requirements associated with multimedia entities; assisting in live Digital Broadcast to multiple platforms, including ESPN digital and athletics website; providing technical assistance and training to temporary employees and student staff who assist in the production of in-game media and broadcast; and performing other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Digital Initiatives.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. At least two (2) years of experience in college athletics video production preferred (may include time spent as intern or graduate assistant if applicable). A successful candidate must possess strong working knowledge of Adobe systems, Daktronics Scoreboards (Venus and Show Control video boards), NewTek Tricaster and Sound Director or comparable music systems; possess strong working knowledge of current television broadcast techniques and practices; must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills; the ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.; and must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.
