The full-time Audiovisual Technician will report to the Project Manager of Audiovisual for a rapidly growing construction/tech hybrid company and will work on commercial audiovisual jobs with several high-profile clients.
Ideal applicants will have experience wearing many hats and working alongside multiple departments and trades. Knowledge of standard construction procedures, local GCs, and industry lingo are highly desired. This position will require an immediate focus on the implementations side. Ideal candidates will expected to get up to speed on existing projects quickly as well as study upcoming projects in order to help deliver on time and under budget.
-Installing touch panels
-Installing wall plates
-Installing ceiling speakers
-Building out/wiring AV equipment racks
-Maintaining a level of professionalism
-Interacting with the client/customer as needed
Experience / Skills
-High School Diploma
-1 year of Audiovisual exposure/experience
-Willingness to submit a drug screen and background check
-Familiarity with industry standards
-Proven track record of hard work and motivation
-Ability to work flexible times such as nights or weekend
-InfoComm CTS Certification
-Strong Troubleshooting Methods
-Experience working primarily from technical drawings, diagrams, and work orders
-Formalized training from major brand AV vendors
-Extremely computer proficient
-Ability to configure, load firmware, and set IP addresses on network devices
-Ability to maintain quality of work and professionalism under stressful deadlines
-Impeccable customer service skills
*Experience working in public places (schools, city/state offices, etc.) a plus!
