We’re looking for a Creative Director to join our Lyft Bikes & Scooters creative team in NYC. As a Creative Director, you’ll oversee the creative team dedicated to Bikes & Scooters, working closely with the VP of Creative and the larger creative department at HQ to shape the vision for all design, marketing and communications related to this new product offering. You are a seasoned creative leader that thinks strategically and conceptually about brand experience. Your portfolio should demonstrate a high level of taste and familiarity with design and advertising that breaks through, generates earned media and is part of a conversation defining what’s culturally relevant. The ideal candidate will be a master communicator, skilled at managing broad teams and multiple projects and stakeholders while delivering world-class solutions across all media types (design, advertising, content, online, etc).

Responsibilities:

-As a part of the management team, you will report directly to the VP, Creative Director and help build the revenue, market reputation and culture required for continuous growth
-Serve as a manager, mentor and team member—directing, inspiring and doing
-Hire, train and develop a team to deliver on our creative vision

Experience / Skills


Experience & Skills:

-10+ years with a strong background in the world of design, communication, storytelling and creativity for top-tier brands
-Proven leadership ability
-A track record of producing award-winning work
-Demonstrates the ability to tell stories about brands to multiple audiences, through breakthrough visual or experiential design and creativity, with strong digital savvy.
-Passionate about brands, ideas, stories, design and events/live/environmental, and a fascination with how to apply that passion to marketing campaigns and other brand experiences
