At St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, every single employee is committed to the mission of finding cures and saving children. Our Video Production Team is no exception. As an integral part of the Biomedical Communications department, you will join a collaborative team of videographers, producers, photographers and designers to serve a community of more than 4,000 faculty and staff across 150 departments.
Our projects range from international broadcast support to patient family communications; from documentary-style recruitment pieces to medical training videos; from social media posts to faculty presentations… and everything in between.


Videographer/editors are expected to work both independently and as a team collaborating with other videographers/editors, video producers, and internal clients to create content that informs and inspires target audiences. With a breadth of styles and techniques, our videographer/editors are highly motivated, passionate, and constantly innovating new solutions in support of our life saving mission.
Applicants should be expert storytellers and creative problem-solvers—flexible enough to work in the fast-paced medical field, empathetic enough to engage with patient families and savvy enough to partner with top-level scientific researchers.

Minimum Education

• High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of training in an accredited television production program required

Minimum Experience

• Three (3) years of directly related video production experience and two (2) years of training in an accredited television production program. In lieu of two (2) years of training in an accredited television production program, two (2) additional years of related experience is acceptable
• Proficiency in AVID Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects preferred
• Expertise with Sony super 35mm camera systems, S-LOG color space, or comparable image acquisition pipelines preferred
