SportsLine, a division of CBS Sports Digital, provides premium content and tools for fantasy, DFS and gambling fans. Sportsline features include in-depth analysis, expert picks, DFS player pools, the industry’s top models, player rankings and odds across major pro/college sports.
Sportsline is looking for a talented Product Designer to lead the design across our iOS, Android and web experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the fastest growing division on one of the largest US sports media properties (#2 in the overall comScore sports category rankings in 2018) at a formative period of innovation within the company. We are looking for someone who wants to help innovate our products and shape design for our subscribers and millions of users who visit SportsLine every month. As a Product Designer, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from high-level product strategy to tweaking pixels right before launch.

You will play a key role in driving the next phase of SportsLine’s evolution while creating the industry standard in fantasy and gambling research products and user experience. You will report to the Design Director with your team being distributed across Nashville, Florida, and New York. You must be a self-motivator, full of enthusiasm and have a fine eye for detail.
-Collaborate and iterate with product and engineering to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges and user needs
-Rapidly produce multiple solutions, from sketches, wireframes, and user flows to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes, depending on the level of detail needed to present and communicate proposed solutions and interaction flows that will resonate with our target audience.
-Conduct user tests, research, and experiments to capture and understand real users’ motivations, goals, and pain points.
-Dig into analytics data to monitor current product usage patterns and identify future areas of enhancement
-Present your work to various stakeholders, explaining your creative process and how your final design aligns with the product goals.
-Provide specs, Zeplin assets, interactive prototypes and design requirements to developers.
-Keep up with the latest Android and iOS releases, design trends and mobile innovations to design beautiful user experiences.
-QA development builds from a design perspective and relay update requests.
-Own product design and user experience for the Sportsline iOS, Android and web experiences.
-Drive design opportunities around key editorial storytelling experiences and tentpole events
-Improve data visualisations and models for fantasy, DFS and gambling fans.
-Enhance the video viewing experience and integration throughout the experiences.
-Maintain and develop our visual language/design system across all Sportsline products.
Experience / Skills
What you bring to the team:
You have -
-5+ years of Product Design experience at a consumer-focused tech organization
-Strong experience designing for iOS and Android apps
-Strong visual design sense, clean command over interaction design, typography and usability.
-Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping (Principle and InVision are our tools of choice)
-Extensive experience conducting user testing and research
-Passion for sports
-Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and effectively across all functions and levels of the Org
-Intellectual curiosity with a constant thirst to learn
-Desire or experience collaborating, iterating, and testing with Product and Engineering to discover the solutions that exceed user expectations
-Experience working in a Lean/Agile environment
