The Graphics Technician prepares graphic design files for offset and digital printing; designs and prints full color, large format wall art, signs and banners; collaborates with closely-related work areas including duplicating and student printing; and must be proficient with a variety of design and pre-press software to prep files for trouble free printing.
Experience / Skills
High School Diploma and 3 years experience in computer-based graphic design OR a Bachelor’s degree and 1 (or more) years of experience in computer based graphic design OR a combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with current Adobe Creative Suite. General knowledge of file prep requirements for duplicating and offset printing.
Bachelor’s degree; experience with HP large-format printers and with equipment and software used to create banners, signs, posters, and wall art. Experience in working with design files for printing and ability to correct issues that prevent trouble free offset and digital printing.
